Someone said they have sent me money owed for goods. I have not received it. I told them to cancel & resend. They say they have cancelled it (so can resend it) but not received an email saying it has been cancelled, so will not send it again until this is received. My ac is verified & I do not have any other problems receiving funds from anyone else. They have not sent me a screenshot of payment made, even though I keep asking. How do I get my money? How long should it take for confirmation of cancellation to come through? P.s. I do not believe it has been sent, so what should I do?
If they could cancel it then it meant either you or they made a spelling error or typo with the email address used and so the funds could not complete as the email address was non existant.
If they cancelled the payment allow up to a week for the funds to go back to the senders funding source.
Then check the email address that they are using.
