I have recently found myself in an odd situation. I sold a guy an iPhone which I thought to be unlocked as I bought it from straight talk and had used it for a couple years on their service I had no idea they locked their phones. After finding out it was locked(after he had received the item and tried to use it with another company) I attempted to help the buyer and get the phone unlocked. Straight talk refused to unlock the phone so I paid for an Unlock service and gave the buyer all of the credentials for the service account. The buy her since requested a refund which I agreed to upon return of the iPhone. I have not received the phone yet paypal has already issued a refund. Any suggestions on the best way to approach this issue with Paypal, as they like to think they are always right I would hate to upset them any further.
