Percentage charged on sales

This seems like such a simple question, and yet I can't find an answer, except on Google, and the answer might be wrong? PayPal charged me a 4% fee on an item I sold on eBay. Yet I can't find the fee percentage listed anywhere on PP for sold items. 4% seems a little high?
