Pending

I have done a payment and it says 'pending' and then under that it says echeque completation by the 26 of july what does that mean

Normally when you pay a seller its never instant, paypal CREDIT the seller for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer from your funding source to reimburse them.

BUT they only do that if...................

1. You are paying with a debit or credit card.

2. You are paying via bank transfer BUT have a back up card linked to that Paypal account as well that is in date and with funds.

3. You have cleared funds in your paypal balance.

If its 2 and you don't have a linked card OR if its a high risk transaction OR you have had a failed bank transfer / negative balance at some stage then the bank transfer will go as an echeque and you take the wait for the funds to transfer to the seller, seller does not have to send the item until those funds have cleared.
