Pending status (to friend)?

Hi, I recently transferred some money to a friend via PayPal (as a friends and family payment), but he has not received it and my activity says payment pending. The money is coming from the debit card linked to my account, so I was just wondering how long I can expect the payment to take? Many thanks 🙂

Double check the email address it was sent to and make sure there were no spelling errors.

However if its a f/f payment then it may have been sent as an echeque.
