Okay my boyfriends aunt sent him some money for christmas. This isn't the first time she has sent money to him via paypal. She also used paypal an sent his 2 sisters money as well. His sisters recieved there money but his still says pending. She sent the money thru recheck an the bank says it was cleared. Should've been available by the 18th. TWO DAYS AGO. Why wont paypal let him get his money??? Help. I cant get anyone on the phone an I'm getting the run around through paypal support.
How long echeques take is dependent on the banks processing times.
As an echeque is the slowest transfer option it can take up to 5 business days to clear.
The fact its left the bank does not mean that paypal have it yet to credit the recipient as it has to go via ACH in batches after leaving said bank account.
