Pending cancel

I order something in the website but there was an error occur on my order and the order has been not made.

But my money went out from my credit card and the paypal activity status was pending.

But the pending status had been disappeared but the money has not come back yet to my credit card account.

In this case the disappearance of my pending status is refund or what?

Once released it will automatically go back to your bank account or card. Paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine, however that varies country to country.
