On January 11, 2019 the vendor cancelled my payment because the item was no longer available. I have followed up with them twice to verify they actually cancelled it and they have. So why is it still “pending” according to you?

Hi @Martini13,
It sounds like there is an order authorization pending on your PayPal account. This happens when your order has been received by the seller, but your payment has not yet been processed. If it's still pending, we haven't received communication from the merchant that the order has been canceled yet. The status of an order will continue to display as pending until it expires, is completed, or has been voided, which can take up to 30 days.
