Hi, i sent £30 to my friend but she said it was the wrong email and that this one wasn't verified so it just says pending but the money has been taken from my bank account? Its been pending since the 3rd. I'm just a little confused whats going on, when will i get my money back and will it go straight into my bank account.

Thanks for the help

Harry.

Sounds like a pending refund.

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund OR ITS CANCELLED in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.

I'm sorry my dyslexia makes things quite difficult to understand even tho i re-read everything a few times. So the payment has left my bank account (i payed with my bank account since i had no money on my paypal).

Does this mean i just have to wait? and the money will be transferred and/refunded into my paypal or bank.

If i just wait for like another week will the money be back in my bank account or paypal balance ?

p.s im sorry i need reassurance cause its quite hard for me to understand some things properly.

Answer?= i just have to wait and the money will be transfered back into my bank account?
