Paypal suddenly negative after getting a refund

Hello dear Paypal Community,

Something weird just happened. I still had like 3 USD/€ left on my account, earlier someone send me a 50$ refund. But instead of getting the money my Paypal balance suddenly went negative to -10$ despite the fact I didn't spend any money and I should have gotten 50$??
Does anyone know why this happened and how I can solve this? Where did the money go?

Hi,

Timing could be the cause of the issue. It can take a while for the funding source to post a refund after it is issued. The refund could also be coming from a bank account which could delay the refund being credited to your account or funding source.
