Paypal doesn't give me the option of selecting my cash balance as a payment method

I want to pay my ebay bills with my cash balance but when I go to the payment section, the only option paypal offers is my credit card. It does not give me the option of selecting my cash balance. I am on a desktop computer. Not using a phone app.

Are the funds in your balance cleared and not pending?

Are they in the correct currency?

Have you done this......

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in the balance option.
