trying to get spotify premium but when I do it asks me for a credit/debit card which I dont have - my paypal is linked to my bank account. Have had no issues previously. Why now? What am I missing? Thanks guys, help line is closed.

For some transactions ie digital / virtual or higher risk Paypal will ask you to add a card to act as a back up funding source.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
