Purchased an item on eBay. Everything appears to be OK.

I assumed PayPal will take the money needed from my Visa, but nothing happened.

I am now confused does PayPal expect me to "transfer" the money or will take the money needed from my Visa as it did many times before?

When will that be? I thought the day I paid for the item is the day PayPal will claim the amount needed.

Sadly, PayPal's system doesn't have the option to talk directly with PayPal as it used to many years ago.

If the transaction is marked as completed in your Paypal account then Paypal will have credited the seller on your behalf like they normally do and then Paypal will take the wait for the funds to transfer from your funding source ie card.

They do that so there is no delay in the despatch of your item, funds may take a little while to 'leave' your card.
