I have sold a item on ebay as collection only due to the size of it. The lady has paid via paypal and wants to send her husband to collect today.. ive asked if i can refund the money and her pay cash on collection which she refused and said she wouldnt get buyers protection. If she comes and collects then says she hasnt got it where would i stand with this? I was thinking of doing a 'Bill of payment' type thing but will that be void anyway as its not her collecting its her husband? Thanks

Tell her that you listed the item as cash on collection and that is the only method you will accept and refund her anyway.
Don't let her dictate to you because if she collects and then does a dispute YOU will have no SELLER protection.
The whole point of collecting an item is that she can inspect it first before she takes it away.
So just refund and refuse collection until cash is handed over.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
