I’m selling something, the customer has sent the money and has been approved but is asking me to pay money to receive the payment due to security into my account... is this a scam or is this right

Hi @MikeyMelb and @itsluzio,
Thanks for reaching out to the PayPal Community! I just wanted to clarify that when receiving a payment for Goods and Services, PayPal will automatically take out a transaction fee from the amount received. This is an automatic process and isn't something you would have to manually initiate. If you're being requested to actually pay someone else to receive your money, this may be a scam. Here's some useful information on how to watch out for hoaxes, phishing and scams.
