Payment withdrawn to unattached Paypal ID

Our clients send payment to us on several Paypal IDs that are connected with our business Paypal account. For some reasons, we removed one email ID from Paypal account and the client has sent the payment to that email now. This email ID in question has no Paypal account and is only connected with our Paypal Business account.
So please let me know what should I do now.

Re-add it and verify it back to your paypal account and the funds should show up.

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. I tried attaching emails and nothing happened.
