Payment with out password

I purchased some items from Wish. They took money out of my Paypal account without me putting in my password. How is that possible?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community forum! 

In general, if a payment was charged without asking you for the password, it may be that you activated One Touch. With this option enabled, once you are logged in to the PayPal app, you can make a purchase without entering their credit card information, username, and/or password. You can de-activate this option by following these steps.
