Payment was declined on eBay

Hello,

Since I won the bidding on eBay, I tried to pay for a laptop from a individual seller through PayPal, but my payment was declined with this message " Sorry, this payment option isn't available. Here are your options: 1. select a different payment option. 2. Contact PayPal customer service to resolve this issue." 

So, I bought another items to check whether my PayPal account has some problems or not, and PayPal works well on other items on eBay.

Somebody know what's the problem?

is it because of the seller is a scam?

Are you using Ebay checkout OR paying directly via paypal?

I am having the same problem.  Everything appears to be fine in my paypal account, and both of my payment options are fine.

- did you ever figure this out?
