Payment unsuccessful - Money taken from bank account

Hi community.

 

Today I tried to buy tickets at the Universal Studios website using PayPal. I logged in with my PayPal account and chose one of my cards. Confirmed the transaction and got an error message from the website. Did not receive any notification/e-mail from PayPal confirming the transaction. Although the money was taken from my bank account (received a notification from my bank app confirming the transaction). In my PayPal account I don not have any record of the transaction, neither saying that failed or is suspended. How can I solve this situation? Does anyone experienced anything similar?

Solved.

 

PayPal had made an authorization in my account. The transaction/connection with the merchant failed so PayPal released the authorization and I got my money back in my account few hours later.

 

Hope this topic helps people struggling with the same "issue" for some hours.
