Payment that needs an authorization

To whom it may concern,

Please would you be so kind and tell me what do I need to do in this case?

''This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when XXXXXX Company XXXXXXXX completes your order.''

I have contacted the company and they've said they don't have my order in their system and I need to contact Paypal.

Have tried to do that but noone ''picks-up the phone''

What do I need to do?

My money is gone, is it?

When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.

If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.

Unfortunately that company (an established one, in the USA too), said this is now Paypal's problem.
They need to help me.

And I can't contact them (Paypal).

BTW The amount was about 200 dollars.

I didn't say anything about a company helping you.

I said if they don't capture the pending payment then it will time out at 30 days.

Let me be more percise...

I have contacted my bank and they've said it is Paypal's ''turn'' to authorize the transaction.

I really do hope I'll manage to successfully solve this with Paypal - have exchange one message with them already 🙂
