Payment still pending after I have verified my existing account.....URGH!

I have several people that have paid invoices that I have sent them tonight. They have paid me, but it says payment pending. I have had this same account for a few years. Up until a week or so, I never had this happen. I received the email and through that tried to accept payment, but it says I have to verify account. I verify my card on file and it still doesn’t help!
