Payment refunded

Hi there,

I was hoping someone may have encountered this.

I paid someone using PayPal and received a confirmation that the transfer was done. However, with 24 hours, the transactions was refunded in full.

There was no message sent to me to authorise or any action taken by me to request a refund.

Any idea as to why this happened and/or what can be done to avoid this in future?
