Hi,
I sent some money to someone who had just registered their PayPal account. The amount was under $50 USD. 17 minutes later and the individual received an email stating that I cancelled the transaction. On my PayPal activity, it also states the transaction was cancelled. I am 100% sure I did not do this and the money has not yet been returned to my account (although, too early for that).
The individual I sent it to thinks this is because they forgot to confirm their email address. However, that doesn't seem like the case, as PayPal claims I cancelled it. Although, there is no indication I did on my side. I've sent and received plenty of payments, but have never had this issue before. I only found one thread on here from 2011 that had a similar issue.
What's going on here?
