Payment pending

Can anybody enlighten me as to why the salary i have received from my employer through paypal is still on pending status. I have received the money on the 2nd July, upon checking on paypal it says that it will be pending until July 8. Today is July 8 and still it is on a pending status. I really do not understand why Paypal need to pend the money i have received for a week now.

I am sorry about your issue. As a security measure, we review potentially higher-risk payments. When this happens, we place a hold on the payment within minutes of it being sent. Once our review is complete, we'll either clear the payment or reverse it.
