Payment not received

Hi there,

 

I'm awaiting a payment I was supposed to receive 2 days ago. In the past, payments from this platform (depop) have come through fine. However, I received a suspicious email sent to my old email address, despite my new address being linked with my Paypal account. The email acknowledged the payment, but said that I have to upgrade to a business account to receive my payment. I have recently verified my bank account also, but the payment is yet to come through, and I'm unsure why this dodgy email was aware of the payment I'm waiting on.

Does anyone know how I can receive my payment? And what to do about the dodgy emails sent to my old address?

Have you checked that you didn't have the old email address on the item you were selling on Depop and so the buyer paid to the old email address?
