I attempted to order from Argos online 2 days ago both times it said it hadn’t gone through but the money was taken from my bank an I had 2 emails that it had from PayPal. The man at Argos said it should take upto 48 hours for the money to go back into my account but Iv heard nothing from either them or PayPal?

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

You have authorised a payment to Argos.. on both emails with the same amount and a transaction Id on each. Says funds will be transferred when merchant processes the payment. The money went straight out of my bank but I had no order from Argos so I contacted them an the guy said he would put in a request for it to be returned and resolved fast track an placed the order on the phone for me which I was then charged again for.
