Payment error

I accidentally sent money to the wrong person who had t he same name as the one I was paying. I emailed and explained what happened. any chance I'll get it back?

Sadly can't advise as you haven't said how you paid ie which paypal option you chose to send the funds OR how you funded that paypal payment.
