I had my wedding dress listed on Facebook for sale and a man in a different state wants to buy it for his wife-to-be. I got an email that to me looks like it's from PayPal. It was like a confirmation of the payment but it states that I need to ship out the item and email a response to that same email with the tracking number so they can verify that the tracking number is correct and I actually shipped it. It states I won't receive my payment until the shipping number is verified. Is that true? Is that how this works? Or is this a spam email just trying to take stuff for free? I can't get ahold of anybody on PayPal and nobody I know knows anything about this. I don't want to go in ship a $2,400 wedding dress and not actually get paid
