Payment can't be processed

So I was setting up Paypal for my Shopify website and even after the verification of the business ac, after entering the card details at the checkout page, it says "

We aren't able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please go back to the merchant and try using a different payment method."
 
can somebody please help me out with this?
