Hi NadaS

If you paid with your PayPal balance your refund should go instantly back to your PayPal balance. If you paid using a card then you will get refunded to the card and it may take a few days before it comes into your bank.

Depending on when you should buy again is totally up to you. What was the reason for the refund, and are you going to buy same item again?

Thank you eniemi for your reply

I added a credit card to my paypal account and purchased an item using paypal, but then the seller cancelled the order due to a problem in the address and told me to try to purchase again after the address problem is fixed and he refunded me, now i can see the refund on my paypal account and when i try to purchase again using paypal, i get a message stating "unfortunately, we can't process your payment"

shouldn't the refunded money be already in my paypal balance since the refund is complete or do i need to wait like 5 business days or what?

Hi, there!

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

@eniemi - Thank you for your answer!

@NadaS - If you are unable to make a payment, it may not depend on the refund. From what you mentioned, in fact, it seems like our security system is preventing you from making a payment as a security matter. In this case, you can try clearing your cache and cookies, deleting your browser history and waiting for 48 hours without accessing your account to let the system reset. This may help you solve the issue!

I hope this helps.
