Paying issue via eBay checkout

hopefully someone can help me

i am struggling to pay for my items via eBay, I select PayPal as payment method, I’ve tried both balance and bank cards both have funds to pay but I need getting the following error message 

Sorry, this payment option isn't available. Here are your options:

• Select a different payment option.

Can someone please advise what I need to do
