PayPal keeps on asking for a credit card.

I already have a debit card linked, but randomly my PayPal asks me for my credit card, and I can't do anything about it. I can't process my payments because of this. Does anybody know why?

For some transactions ie digital / virtual or higher risk and at some point anyway Paypal will ask you to add a card to act as a back up funding source and to verify your Paypal account.

I have the same problem.....It would be nice if Paypal wrote a an explanation rather let people waste time searching for answers...I still havent found an answer that works.
