PayPal is ignoring my payment settings

I have my account set up to charge only my credit card when I charge a ride with Lyft. Every single time I ride with Lyft, PayPal charges my credit card. I have double checked my settings and they are the same.
Yesterday after a Lyft ride PayPal charges to my checking account.
This is PayPal's error and it is virtually impossible to talk to someone to ask them to take responsibility for this.
What if my checking account didn't have enough funds to cover it? Why did they suddenly not charge the credit as I have specified in the settings?
Thank you for any help!

Go to Account Settings (wheel icon) > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments
Select Lyft, to see if the payment method is correct if not, click Cancel and re-link your PayPal to Lyft.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
