Here's what happened. I had $65 in my PayPal Balance, so I made two small purchases on eBay, thinking that they would be automatically deducted from my balance as is the norm. Instead, PayPal charged my bank account and since there was nothing there, I ended up with $30 in overdraft fees ($15 for each transaction). I've made numerous purchases and PayPal always uses my balance to make the payments and just deducts the difference from my bank account. I even made another purchase that same day and it was deducted from my balance. It says on their website that they'll "use your available balance when you shop online or send money for goods and services." But that obviously wasn't true in my case. Is there any way to get a refund from PayPal for those overdraft fees?
