Okay, so I was making an online purchase and a PayPal $5 Discount offer came up on the vendor's website, so I thought "Great!" and attempted to use it. But when I tried going through the necessary PayPal Checkout it would NOT recognize my credit card even though it's good and is my preferred payment method.
It's not the $5 that bugs me, it's the hour I wasted making phone calls thinking my credit card had been hacked. No matter what I tried I could find no successful resolution. Why make a discount offer if PayPal can't recognize and approve a customer's credit card within its own system?
