Paid for item but seller still had it as unpaid

Paid for item, but it remains unpaid to seller. I have the item as paid, if I try to pay it assumes I want another item. I still get message saying pay. Any ideas, never happened since joining 2003.

Is it showing as paid completed in your paypal transaction history or pending?

If pending does it say unclaimed with or withOUT a cancel option?

Is it pending on the sellers side or not showing up at all?

Is there a clearance date?
