I paid someone in GBP from my German paypal account (which is in €) yesterday. The rate of conversion was as follows: 16,81 GBP = 20,52 EUR.
In my activity log, it says that I "Paid with PayPal Balance: 20,00 EUR" yet altogether, 40.52€ were charged from my credit card. Where do these additional 20€ come from? My PayPal balance is at 0.00€. How do I get this money back?
