Hi everyone,
I am a bit confused about how PayPal works.
My card is recently expired but I still have some credit on my PayPal account.
I thought I need a new card to be able to receive payments as well as shopping online.
The first question is: do I need a PayPal card to be able to use my funds?
Also, do I need a card at all to receive and send money??
Thanks in advance to anybody that will help me on this!

You only need a new card to utilize features that require the card. Otherwise, you can pay online only with your PayPal balance or a linked (to your PayPal) credit card or bank account and to receive and send funds via your PayPal email address to your PayPal account. You can call the number on back of card to request a new card if you like.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Great!
Ok so as far as my PayPal account is active online I should be able to do everything I need to do on the web even with an expired card.
I would need a card only in case I want to withdraw or pay in physical shops.
Is that correct?

I am not sure that this works. I also have some funds on Paypal but system refused to make Paypal payment because my card has expired. I wonder what card has to do with direct Paypal transactions. If there is connection and we need card in 100% cases, what is the advantage of Paypal after all.
