I tried to buy an item on ebay and then got notification that the order was cancelled because payment didnt go through. However the payment did go through as its showing on my paypal account and the money has left my bank. The seller is claiming they didnt receive the funds and as i apparently never purchased the item i dont seem to be able to open a dispute either. Is there a way that paypal will be able to trace this money or am i likely to have lost it?
