I would like to request money to someone, as I am selling them an item not on eBay. For seller protection, I'd like to request the money as "Goods and Services" but I don't see that option when I click "Request Money". I have a business account if that makes any difference.

It doesn't give you the option even with Personal accounts. And PayPal documentation is kinda vague on it. I have read that money requests has PayPal fees charged to the recipient as its an informal invoice so that makes for seller protection but at the same time they make it seem you can make personal payments as well. Perhaps the sender chooses the payment type during checkout. If the sender wants buyer protection for their payment then it's in their best interest to send payment as goods and services, then you'll have seller protection as well.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
