Not seeing an incoming transfer

A friend transferred money to me through PayPal. On her end it says that it is waiting for me to choose which account I want to receive it into. When I look at my PayPal account there is nothing there about this transfer. I am not a big user of PayPal so I may be missing something. Any help?

What does it say next to the transaction in your friends Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.

It says:

Pending

Money Sent

[my name] hasn't accepted yet.

ok then either..........

one of you has made a mistake imputting the email address for payment ie a typo for eg OR

your email address hasn't been verified OR

the funds were sent in another currency so you have to click to accept it or set it up.
