Not receiving payment from another paypal account

A buyer sent me money through paypal to my paypal account, and screenshotted a picture "You've successfully sent $XXXX to __(my address)__" to me, but I've yet to receive any emails confirming the payment, nor any balance was added to my account. My email is confirmed, but I did not tie it with any bank account/ debit/credit card as of now, but I am pretty sure none of those are necessary to receive a payment. What should I do now?

You are correct: in your Country, it is not necessary to add a card or a bank account to receive payments. If you did not receive a communication asking you to claim the payment or informing you that a payment has been sent to you, it may mean that the payment was not sent correctly. I would recommend not shipping the item until the payment has been sent to you. You can reach out to your counterpart and ask them to reach out to us for more information.
