Not able to make payments through new business account

Have recently set up a PayPal account to receive payments through our e-com website from buyers internationally. 

Sandbox testing is successful. 

However, when we tried to make a 'live' test payment using a credit card, the PayPal page will not go beyond the point/page wherein we enter the credit card details. No error message is displayed. Since we are based in India & cannot use India issued credit card, we used an international credit card registered with our UK address. 

The odd case is  that we are receiving payments from these e-com websites, however the PayPal account has been created for/with our UK address, its only the India PayPal account which is giving us the bother.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance
