Not Receiving Deposits

I set up my PayPal in Ukraine. I am now in the US and work for a company that uses PayPal to pay me. I have a credit card attached to my account. I do not see any deposits. The US part of PayPal said they cannot help me.  How do I fix this problem? Thank you for any help you may have. Thank you!

Open a US PayPal account if you now live in the US. PayPal accounts are country specific. Ukraine accounts cannot receive payments.

There is nothing about receiving money, only sending money for goods and services or buying at online retailers

 

This is homepage of US PayPal, with much more account features:

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/home

 

Link a US bank account and US credit card to verify your PayPal account and confirm billing address respectively. If you have tax ID (SSN or ITIN), provide that too or expect to provide it sooner or later if you meet the thresholds for PayPal to report your gross receipts from sales/goods and services payments to the IRS.

Thank you. What happened to the money the company sent to my credit card associated with the Ukraine account? If I get a US account will I still be able to access the past payments?

How can I cancel my Ukraine account and start a US account with the same email and credit card associated with it? Or is this even possible?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.
