New email Ebay/Paypal issues

Hi Guys,

A while back i changed my paypal email to a new email and DELETED the old one from it. I did this as i no longer have access to that email due to it being a really old one which i don't remember passwords or any info for it to recover it. Now i didn't realise eBays payment system didn't automatically sync up so annoyingly i have 5 items currently selling, which have bids on (therefore cant cancel or revise the listing as i will have to pay the full costs of the items which is over £100) where the money is going to my OLD paypal email which no longer exists. I have tried to contact paypal via their messaging system but its been over a day with no reply (i know i could just call them but i have quite bad anxiety and cant handle phone calls well).

Does anyone know where this money will go? Will it bounce back to the sellers accounts being as the old email doesnt exist on paypal anymore or will it eventually come through to me on my new paypal? Again i cant simply add the old email back onto the paypal as i have no way of verifying the email due to not having access to it anymore.

Thanks!

You need to contact your buyer(s) and ask them to see what it says in their paypal accounts either:

1. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
2. Pending / Unclaimed.
3 Completed.

If its:
Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.

Ask them to cancel the payment but tell them that it will take a few days to go back to their funding source. Then get them to use the "send money" > Goods/Services option and pay to your email address. Tell them DO NOT use the Ebay option or it will direct them to Ebay checkout and the same thing will happen. They may not want to do this and so you could then cancel the transaction. OR you can send them a money request.

Pending / Unclaimed.

If there is no cancel option then the buyer will get their money back automatically 30 days after paying.
Again they may not want to pay you again until they get their money back so you may need to cancel the transaction for them.

Completed.

If its completed then come back for more advice.
