I wanted to void or cancel an echeck that was sent to me.
The activity shows pending.
There is no "cancel" option on the Activity column for the sender or me.
The only option for any transactions is "archive" for my screen.
The person sending money was for a gift and not goods and services.
She also had money in her PayPal account and instead of immediate payment, PayPal is saying the transaction is pending an echeck.
There is no cancel on her PayPal activity screen either.
I want to cancel this transaction versus refunding. Full Refunding resulted in me paying fees out of my pocket as a big surprise last time I did it . There used to be away to Cancel or Void a pending transaction for an Echeck, using Google I found informational screen captures detailing process. But none of the screen captures are accurate as far as the screens the sender or I am seeing on our PayPal screens. Has PayPal done away with the ability to Void and Cancel Echeck pending transactions so that waiting for days and than refunding the only option now?
