Must I use Xoom to send money overseas?

Hi,

I have a friend in Norway that I want to send some money to.  Can I just use his regular PayPal account, or do I now have to use Xoom?

Go to send /request > send money > put in his email address > if theres the family/friends option available then you can use it, if that option is not available then use....

Yes PayPal want is to use it to send and withdraw money so they get even more from us , this is why no Australian bank accounts are no longer verified with PayPal so you are forced to use it to give them greater commissions
