Money not showing up after accepting my payment in Gmail

I received two emails from my mother who sent me $40 and $45 separately from her PayPal account to mine. I accepted both of them and they said that both of them were mow available in my account but when I check my PayPal balance, nothing has changed. What is the deal? This was competed hours ago and now I am getting worried that PayPal lost my money or money or something? Has anybody else ever had this problem and how did you resolve it? Kindest regards, Ben
