I made a mistake while donating to someone one the platform Twitch. I wanted to donate 10 and I don’t know what happened but it resulted in a 100$ donation. I couldn’t cancel the payment while it was pending on Paypal’s website and they refused my claim, saying I’m not eligible for a refund and I do not get more info than that. I backed up with more proof, one that first proves the recipient isn’t 18, hence against the terms of usage of Paypal. I also proved that the recipient was willing to give the money back but only once and only once the claim would be closed, which I know I won’t see my 90$ ever again if I decide to close it. I do not know why Paypal doesn’t want to refund me despite all the evidence and I do not know either what I could do to get myself out of that. Note that the entire conversation between me and the recipient was discussed over the platform Discord.
