Missing money - sent to wrong account

Hello community,
I have an issue in that my website was setup incorrectly and the wrong address was used to take payments.
Rather than my Paypal address they used my email address. It was like that for over a week and I have had customers contact me to ask about their order.
I have contacted my website provider and they are unable to track these orders.
Is there anyway that I can recover this money?
This is not the account that received the orders.

You can have up to 8 email addresses on the x1 paypal account.
If you add that email address and verify it the funds should show.
Advice is voluntary.

If I add the email to my paypal account - will the payments come through? Would you know a rough timescale?
